  Enroll in Course

With this course your average patrol officer, detective or any other member of staff can learn simple and effective ways to use the internet and social media to investigate crimes or incidents online. Most open source investigation doesn't need to be carried out by specialist teams and it certainly doesn't need to be carried out on special covert computers. But many officers simply aren't equipped to conduct straightforward enquiries in the workplace.

Most of the time the sort of work that patrol officers and general investigators conduct does not require covert machines and complicated methods of gathering evidence. If the investigation is being progressed by knocking on doors in uniform or showing identification, there is no need for the related online enquiries to be any more covert. WIth Blueline's Level 1 Open Source Course everyone will be able to conduct efficient and effective online investigations without needing specialist help and support or covert equipment.

All officers and staff should all have this as a minimum. There doesn't have to be a delay in carrying out simple internet research, just because a trained officer is not available.
